OOTN: Dinner at Bonefish

OOTN: Dinner at Bonefish It’s my second day home since the end of the spring semester at FSU, so I got treated to Bonefish with my parents! I feel like at bonefish you can wear anything from casual to semi formal, so I chose something in between. I am in love with this flowy hi-lo black skirt, so I wanted to wear it. (Usually I pick one piece I want to wear and use it as my inspiration for my outfit) For nighttime, I am a fan of fitted, so I paired it with a coral tank. I haven’t worn this necklace in a while, so I added it, as well as this cuff, and when it came to shoes, I had to wear my Steve Maddens. They are amazing! So comfortable, so easy to walk in, so beautiful. These especially complete the outfit because with all the solid colors, I needed a pattern. I walked out the door singing “Got my Steve Maddens on and I’m feelin hella good tonight! OOTD: Black Maxi Skirt, Blazer, Tank I have been wanting to wear my maxi skirt and this day was a 70 degree day, so I knew I wouldn’t be too hot in it. I also knew I would be cold in class so I paired it with a pinstripe white blazer and for when walking outside, a coral tank. I love jewelry so I wore this tribal beaded one and my beaded and wood bracelet I got from the Atlanta Apparel Market last fall. Fun Spring Lips

Fun Spring Lips When I was in Sephora a few weeks ago I saw this picture by the Kat Von D section that was lips with a different lipstick on bottom and top. I went home and realized I had the products to do the same thing! I was so excited because when I saw the picture in the store I was so in awe, I thought it was such a brilliant idea and work of art I kinda stood there and thought about how cool it looked and how I would do it. Anyway, I used Kat Von D’s Coral Lipstick (a lipstick I realized I might actually not be able to pull off until now!) on top and Buxom’s Monte Carlo lipstick on bottom. I wasn’t sure which to put on which lip, but what helped me decide was that the Coral lipstick was in a normal applicator and the Buxom was in the slimmer kind, so the Buxom was easier to apply to my lower and the Kat Von D coral to my upper lip. I think it makes for such a fun look and I’m so stoked I can wear the coral now! Also, if you accidentally forget, and rub your lips together, it’s no biggie because the colors look great mixed too! EOTD: Turquoise Liner For summer I like to go simpler and brighter with my makeup looks. This is Urban Decay’s turquoise 24/7 Glide-On Eye Shadow Pencil called Clash. I generally need a thicker liner for my eyes so this eyeshadow pencil makes it easier to make that thick line. All I did here was put on UD’s primer potion, the liner, then their Sin shadow for a highlighter, eyelash primer, and lastly mascara. It takes 2 minutes and looks cute! I know it isn’t summertime yet, but the spring weather in Florida makes it feel like it is and we all know in summertime the living is easy, and so should be your makeup! OOTD: Interview I had an interview the other week and picked this outfit out. Sometimes interview outfits can be tricky, but I feel that once you put on a pencil skirt, it’s easy to go from there. After the pencil skirt I tucked in a ruched vneck white shirt and added a coral cardigan on top. I accessorized with a turquoise and silver cuff, cross bracelet, fleur de lis necklace, pearl stud earrings, gold skinny belt, and black leather wedges. I know the picture looks a little odd, like things are not fitting me, but it’s just the angle I took it from. OOTD: Music Skull; Neon sandals

OOTD: Music Skull; Neon sandals A couple of my newer purchases are this shirt and these sandals. I got the shirt at TJ Maxx & the sandals at Target. TJ Maxx is definitely the more stylish discount store (like Ross). I bought a few shirts from there that I instantly fell in love with. One was this one. It’s a loose fitting short sleeve shirt. Very comfortable and fashionable! The pants are my go-to jeans from Abercrombie and Fitch. & the sandals are from Target…in the kids section! I know..no way right!? Haha. I died when they fit me. Apparently I am a size 5 in kids! Kinda felt like a whole new window of options opened up when I found that out! haha And honestly..my pants are from the kids Abercrombie and fitch. It’s really sad I have to go there for my jeans. I’m a thin, 5’ 2” college girl..it doesn’t seem like I should have to go to the kids store. But, it does make me laugh! Also, if you can see, I have a gold Skull head ring on my left hand. Found it at Kohls. OOTD: Simply Red This is a simple red eyeshadow look. 1st. Urban Decay Primer Potion 2nd. Apply dark brown eyeshadow with smudge brush where you want to put eye liner 3rd. Apply Sephora’s Kohl eyeliner 4th. Apply UD’s red eyeshadow called Heat all over lid (I think it has been discontinued, but to get a similar look you can use their new hot pink Woodstock color or any other red eye shadow of course) 5th. Apply UD’s Sin for highlighting in tear duct and under brow. Then blend edges of red with Sin as well 6th. Take same smudge brush and apply black eyeshadow (I used UD’s blackout) 7th. Apply bare minerals all over face (especially to take care of the fall out under the eyes) 8th. Curl lashes, use UD’s eyelash primer and super curl curling mascara Enjoy! OOTD: Black, White, & Neon This photo is a little awkward, my bad. Im usually rushing out the door when I take these, so I don’t check them very well. Oops! Something new I got recently was this neon tank. It’s nylon, so it conforms to your body and dries quickly and all that. I enjoy nylon sometimes, especially in the hot florida weather. I wanted to add a little more depth to this look so I put the tank under this crochet black top and striped less structured blazer.
